Earthshine among Stars.
Soumyadeep Mukherjee has clicked extremely beautiful pics of moon. Lets see what Soumyadeep Mukherjee has to say:
Last evening, it was a beautiful clear sky in Kolkata with a waxing crescent moon, a perfect combination to capture the earthshine part of the moon. The first image is the wide-field view of the moon with the neighbouring stars. Why do we see the stars trailing? Because the speed of movement of moon and the stars are not the same. The moon moves slower than the stars in the sky. If the moon is tracked, stars will trail.
The second image is a close-up of the earthshine moon. Both the images are a stack of 45 images (out of 60) of 15 seconds.
The third image is a wider view of the moon accompanied by the red planet, Mars, taken with a 35mm lens (cropped). It is a stack of 75% of 30 images.
