One of those incidents played out in early December, toward the end of the 1952 wave. The incident involved an entire crew of a B-29 Bomber, who, both visually and on radar, noted six separate incidents as they flew back to base around 100 miles off the Louisiana coast.   “ Plane flight Rome to Amman - I was checking out some photos I took during my flight from Rome to Amman, on the 30th of January 2008 . I didn't recognize any strange object while I was aboard, but just yesterday I discovered something unusual in one of the pictures I had taken.  JULY 5, 2015 ………. GLENPOOL OKLAHOMA “On July 5, 2015, (Sunday) at 4:30 PM CDT, my son and I were hanging up new flags on my flag post. He was hoisting up the flags, so I was looking into the sky, watching them go up.  Much to my surprise, right in my line of sight, a UFO was passing overhead. It was traveling from due South to due North at what appeared to me to be a very high velocity. It was snow white with no visible markings or lights. I had a very clear view of it before it disappeared out of my sight. I could clearly see it for about 5 to 10 seconds.  If it was the size of a 747, I would estimate the altitude at 2500 to 3500 feet. My gut feeling is that it was much larger than a 747. It was traveling at an angle of about 70 percent from the plane of the earth. On August 19, at 04:09 GMT , Mercury and Mars will appear extremely close to each other in our skies, with Mercury passing 0°04 ' to the south of Mars. The conjunction will be better visible from the Southern Hemisphere; use a pair of binoculars if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere. Mercury will be the brightest one in the duet, shining at a visual magnitude of -0.5 . The Red Planet, in its turn, will have a magnitude of 1.8 . Look for them in the constellation Leo. To find the objects in the sky, use StarWalk 2. The next time you’ll see such a close approach of Mercury and Mars (<0.1 degrees) will be in 2032 , so don’t miss this chance!   The next close planetary encounter, in general, will be between Venus and Neptune on April 27, 2022. NOVEMBER 13, 2020 ………..NORTH CAROLINA FLIGHT “On November 13, operating from Charlotte, NC to Harrisburg, PA. That flight departed the gate in CLT at 2017 local time. After takeoff, while climbing through an altitude of roughly 15,000 feet heading north, I saw an object out of the corner of my eye that then moved with very significant relative speed from the top of my field of view to at or below my perceived nighttime horizon, nearly vertically down with slight movement from left to right. It was moving at a speed consistent with a meteor, but white with no tail, and at roughly the horizon, it instantaneously stopped with no deceleration and changed direction, with no curvature of turn, to the north or northeast, roughly a few degrees right of our course. The encounter happened over the gulf of Saint Lawrence the night of July 30 of this year. It was first reported on Twitter by  Stefan Watkins and later by Vice. The passenger jet was an KLM Airbus A330-300 flight going from Boston to Amsterdam. The Canadian military play was Department of National Defense flight from Trenton, Ontario heading to Germany. According to the report both saw a “ Bright Green Flying Object ” that flew into a cloud and disappeared. The Perseid rain, the popular " Tears of San Lorenzo ", will have its maximum activity on the nights of August 11 to 12 and from 12 to 13, when, according to the calculations of the standard models, around 100 meteors per hour (always talking about optimal conditions) The meteor shower takes place from July 17 to August 24. But the best night to photograph it is between August 11 and 12. The peak is August 12. This meteor shower is visible from both hemispheres. Although it is best seen in the northern hemisphere. Psyche 16 - first spotted back in March 1852 - is a 124 mile-wide space rock that will be the primary focus of NASA’s project, which is set to launch in August 2022. The spacecraft would arrive at the asteroid four years later in early 2026. It will be the first exploration into a world of metal rather than rock and ice.  PORT ALBERNI…… CANADA “I went to meet my friend at his house after a soccer game at about noon on a Sunday. It was a nice clear and warm day so I went out on his patio at the back of the house to wait for him. The patio looks over the canal and the mountains on the other side of the water. I noticed what I thought was a flock of birds over the water but then quickly realized they were too far away to be birds. I thought maybe they were planes but they didn’t look like planes or make any sound. Their were about 15 objects that were against the green mountains and then they went in front of the snow caps on the mountains and I could tell they weren’t planes or helicopters or birds, they were just solid objects that made no sound. I watched them for as long as I could and then they were out of my site. They would have been travelling North towards Mt Klitsa. I was on my way to work coming out of QT gas station at corner of Limestone Pkwy and Jesse Jewell Rd at a stop light. It was evening just becoming dark but still light, it was misty day with low cloud cover. As I was sitting at light I saw in the sky above me and ahead of me a large object dumbell or spool of thread shaped. The body was cylinder shaped and both ends were thicker than body but also cylinder shaped. It was very big but I am not good at estimating size. Imagine a spool of thread with much thicker ends or a dumbell with a much thicker body.
